Our Live Childbirth Preparation Class offers you and your partner the opportunity to take a childbirth prep class live in a small group setting limited a total of 6 mothers and their birth partners. This class will be offered in a two day 2.5 hour class format from 6-8:30 pm for each class.

About the Event

This class covers information on the following topics in 2 classes (2.5 hours each) 

  • Pregnancy
  • Labor
  • Comfort Techniques/Breathing Techniques
  • Medical Procedures
  • Cesarean Birth
  • Newborns
  • Postpartum

All participants will receive a hard copy of the Understanding Birth book which accompanies the class as well as important maternal and newborn handouts for review.  Please check your spam/trash email folders. Lauren will be sharing these documents via google drive from lauren@strongasamother.net.  You will receive hard copies of handouts and course book during the class.  You will also receive a pdf file of the document, "Creating Your Postpartum Game Plan" by Vanessa Hawke.  This document will help you organize your thoughts for an easier transition to postpartum for you and your partner.

This event is co-hosted with Michelle Neri of Cord Blood Registry.  Class participants will hear a brief presentation at the start of class on information on newborn cord blood/cord tissue collection and Michelle will send class particpants a $25 gift card.

    Pricing is for two participants. It includes your class and Understanding Birth Book. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email from me within 24 hours of purchase for the pdfs of the class handouts and accompanying book pdf. The pdfs will be send via google drive.
