Certified Lactation Consultant

Owner and Founder of Strong as a Mother, LLC

Welcome to Strong as a Mother! I’m Lauren Cascone, a proud mom of three, wife, and Newtown, CT resident. For over a decade, I worked as a labor and delivery nurse, and I now serve as a lactation consultant. I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds of families through hospital-based births and those important early postpartum days.

Through these experiences, I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful it can be for mothers and families to feel informed, supported, and confident as they prepare to welcome their little one. My goal is to help you feel empowered, prepared, and strong throughout your birth experience and beyond.

As a certified childbirth educator and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I’m passionate about providing evidence-based childbirth and lactation education you can trust. I’m here to offer personalized guidance, support, and reassurance as you navigate this incredible transition into parenthood.

I can’t wait to support you on your journey and help you approach birth and those early days with confidence, calm, and preparation. Contact me below so we can discuss your family’s unique needs and how I can best support you.
